5th Metatarsal break

Hi, I broke my 5th Metatarsal 12/1 and had to have plate and 6 screws out in. I have gone back to work( on my feet all night) and my foot is killing me. The pain besides in the scar area is the 4th Metatarsal. My Dr. said it was from trying to take pressure off of the 5th Metatarsal and told me to get insert.Has anyone had this problem and what are the best padding I can get?Need help.Thanks,

I saw an orthopedic doctor because I hurt my foot he took X-rays broke the fifth metatarsal he is having me wear an ortho pedic shoe what is this going to do ?

I broke my 4th metacarpal, and due to lack of insurance, was forced to leave it alone and let it heal by itself.By the time I got into an ortho doctor, he said there was nothing he could do, for it had already healed. He reccomened physical theray, which I also cannot afford. Any suggestions would be grand.As it is now, I have almost full motion, but I cannot pull my finger back under its own power (hyper-extend) nearly as far as my others. It has been 2.5 months since the injury.
