A whole bunch of stuff

First Off– a note to the mother of the child with acute neck pain, not previously diagnosed: A critical question I would ask was if there was a recent history of trauma–did she fall, recent car accident, etc?
I am an Emergency Medical Tech. For pain of that magnitude that came on suddenly, and with no previous history, it is best that you call 911 and have the patient transported to the hospital by trained professionals for an evaluation.Secondly, I have had a chiropractor who was supposed to be very good do more damage to my back thru frequent adjustments, and I have lost faith in their ability. After 1 year of treatment, there is nothing more he can do for me to manage my pain.
Inadvertantly, he overstretched my ligaments.Lastly, I have seen many claims by chiropractors that they can treat everything from earaches to allergies.
I have yet to see it work on any of my family members/friends who have been going to chiropractors for years. Are there really ANY grounds for these claims?
I pity the poor working folk who go to chiropractors week after week since it is all they can afford, instead of saving money up to go to a doctor and get a prescription for something such as antibiotics for that ear infection, which has a high rate of success.
