ACL Reconstruction

(2 discussions)

HiI had my ACL reconstructed in December 2012, have beenthrough all the rehab and had first basketball trainingsession yesterday. Knee felt okay at the time, I wasobviously watching what I was doing for the first timebut today it is quite achy, as in muscular and aroundthe knee. I have heard through footballers tearing their ACL that it can feel quite achy for a little while after getting back into full time training butjust wanted this confirmed I guess.

It’s been a while since your knee has had that type of pounding. Use ice and ease your way into playing ball. Good luck, Mya
