ankle pain–mri
Hello,
I`m writing to ask what you would do for an ankle with my diganosis—Partial tears in the achellis tendon–and the ligiment–plus two gangloyn cysts and a bone spur. I have been in pain for over a year now—did physical therophy–cast–and ortho–boot–these did not work–Doctor wanted to do the assotron treatment but my insurance turned it down 4 times—-still have lots of pain—also I get really SHARP pains on the other side of my right ankle. Due to see him on Aug 11th He is not sure what he is going to do next—your opinion would be nice. Thank You,Marlene

The purpose of the hardware is to hold the bone fragments together so they can heal properly. Since I can not see your X rays, your question would be best answered by your doctor. Good luck

: I fractured my 5th metatarsal bone 3 weeks ago and I am still in at lot of pain. I can not totally weight bear yet. How long does it usually take. I am anxious to get back to work, but I don’t feel that I can until it is completely healed due to the fact that I am on my feet for the entire eight hours that I work. Please let me know how long it usually takes before someone can totally weight bear with a fractured 5th metatarsal bone. thanks lori
