bad knee

a year or two ago, I hurt my knee in gymnastics. A couple weeks later, I went in cause I couldn’t fully extend it. They did x rays and you could clearly see a good sized bone on my knee was totally chipped off. They told me that know matter what I would probably need surgery, but they should do an MRI to make sure my muscles are okay, which they were. A few days later, I had surgery. The took the big chip, which they said was about the size of the big thumb of a male, and screwed it in with disolvable screws, which I was the second one ever at this time to have this done. I went through physical therapy and crutches for 3 months. Now, the right side of my knee is still numb, which I knew is okay and it always will be. But, I can’t kneel on it or it hurts. Sometimes it feel like it locks, but it pops and hurts for like the rest of the day. Also sometimes when it’s cold out it hurts too, like at a football game. I went to the doctor a few months ago and she said it was okay after my MRI. But, I don’t know if I will be able to live with the pain the rest of my life.
