Ball part of ankle
I recently just noticed an extra bony part of my ankle it rubs on my shoe on the outside of the foot and becomes painfull. I pressed on it to try and get a feel of it not sure if it is a cyst or what. Have you ever heard of anything like this.

Without seeing your ankle, I can not guess what your problem is. Since you did not mention any trauma or how long this problem has been there, my guess includes a possible ganglion. For more information you should see a podiatrist.
