Biceps tendon subluxation

When turning the chuck key to tighten a drill in a drill press my shoulder “popped”.
Physical exam by ortho and MRI indicates subluxed bicepts tendon. Scheduled arthroscopic knee surgery caused reduction in shoulder pain and restored range of motion.
I don’t want to do surgery on this if I can avoid it. Are there any suggested exercises that would be beneficial after allowing the shoulder to rest?
