Big Toe Nails are blackened?
Please help! I am a basketball player and referee. When I run, my big toe (on both feet)is jamming into the end of my sneakercausing under the nail to turn black.Both nails have now fallen off yet the soreness continues to worsen each time I run. I have tried 4 different sneaker brandsat sizes 10, 10 1/2, and 11 to no avail. I normally wear a size 10 shoe and 10 1/2 sneakerto allow extra room for my foot to breathe.There is no sign of fungus and I treat for this frequently to be safe.Please help with sugestions of treatments or products?thank youGreig

You may also try some padding at the tip of your toe. You may have a structural problem with your foot or toe that an orthotic may help. You may also try tightening your laces a little more.
