blisters

I have never been one to get blisters on my feet, I even did a 40 mile breast cancer walk with out any blisters. All of a sudden I am getting blisters everytime I do anything athletic. These are activities that I have done frequently such as running and snowboarding. Some of the blisters are in the same spots many are in different spots. I’m not using new shoes either and I have proper socks. Is this normal to happen all of a sudden.

No it is not normal. What is not known is if these are friction blisters or another kind due to a medical condition. Has there been a weight gain? Has the shoe stretched out? Are the socks worn out? You might want to discuss this with a podiatrist.
