BOTTOM OF FOOT PAIN MIDDLE LATERAL SIDE

(2 discussions)

: For the past month, I have had a pain on the lateral side of my left foot. One morning I just woke up with it and have had it ever since. When I awake in the mornings I can barely stand on the foot. Also when I rest for long periods and then try to stand up the pain comes back. The pain is situated on the middle lateral side and bottom part of my left foot between my little toe and my heel. What could possible be the problem? Please help

Without examining your foot, I can not say for sure. Among possibilities are a stress fracture, subluxed cuboid. I recommend you see a podiatrist for further evaluation.

The nail on my big toe is separating form the bottom. I have no pain, but wounder if the separation will continue.
