broke toe?
(2 discussions)
I stubbed (or so I thougth) my little toe on the corner of some paneling and baseboard in my home.
I went down to the floor grabbing the toe, in a LOT of pain.
The pain seemed to subside after about 15-20 minutes.
However, I then put on some shoes and I felt terrible pain again and walked with a limp.
About 2 hours later, I tried to move my toes and again ended up in a lot of like shooting pain in the toe.
How do I know if I broke it and what should I do?
Thanks!

You should go to a podiatrist and get an X ray.

I was at Volleyball practice the other day and I hurt my toe my slamming my toe part of my shoe to the ground when I fell. My toe hurt a lot for about 20-30 minutes. When I walk I can’t walk on that toe unless I want to feel a lot of pain. My toenail on that toe is purple/blue and my toe is a little bit more red than my other toes. And when my toes are cold thats the only that is warm and vise versa. What should I do? I don’t want to wear a foot cast cause I have volleyball and that is very important to me!Thanks
