Broken Calcaneus

I broke (shattered) my right heel on 7/13, had surgeru on 7/28, I’ve got 10 screws and a plate.
It is now 2/11 and part of my foot is numb, very sore,tight and last week for no reason one of my toenails just fell off. My Dr. wants to do surgery again he says it healed wrong. and wants to rebreak the heal. The only thing that is holding me back is I would miss another 3-4 months of work. What do I do?

The best answer is if you have serious questions, sit down with your doctor and discuss them. Next get another opinion (ask for copies of your x-rays) and go from there.
