Broken Finger

I jammed my finger at a softball practice and it is swollen and black and blue.
I have to play in a deciding game 2morrow and don’t want to have it bother me.
What can I do? Should I heat it or ice it? Any tips? Thanks

I jammed my finger or I think I jammed it but I don’t know what to do. It’s swelling like a big balloon. It kind of hurts to bend it but it is bendable. Help!

My finger was broken while moving stove. Very swolen, black and blue the finger nail is the only blue. However, I just put a splint on it and let it go it has been 2.5 weeks and I am not sure how long to leave the splint on. The finger still hurts and tingles intermittently. Thanks for the advice. I do not have insurance to cover healthcare.Regards,Eyvonne Wells
