broken toe

Hi,
I had wrote to you laast week about my broken big toe which has multiple fractures thank you so much for your response in reference to the cast is was very helpfu. My question now is the injury happen two thursdays ago, this past thursday has been a week and I still have alot of pain when I try to put my foot down it seems to hurt on the right side and tip of toe the doctor has not reseen me although I have called his office to see if this is the norm he just says he dosn’t know and gave me some tyenol and codine. My impression from him in the beginning was I should be feeling some relief in a few days and be able to go back to work I am still home and unable to drive or walk on it my question is do think I should get another opinion or is my toe healing at the right pace.
