bulging disc

I have a bulging disc in 5th and 6th vertebra in the neck, have an appointment Monday, Dec. 8th, 2013 with a chiropractor.. Had MRI and been to neurosurgeon, he thinks a chiropractor can help me. Can you tell me what to expect as far as treatments, how long, and how often I will have to go.. Alot of pain in neck, head and right shoulder.. Thank you…
