I am 20 years old and have a bulging disc in my L4 L5 region… I have spoken to quite a few people about the surgery and about 90% of what I hear they tell me “DO NOT” get the surgery. The surgery will make him feel even more pain and will probably create other problems for him in which more surgery is needed. I suggest getting him a good physical therapist and some pain medication… possibly even cortizone shots.
