Bump on Outside of Right Foot

I had mild pain in my foot a few days ago.
Then I could barely walk on it and felt the difference between my feet. Basically there is a bump on the outside edge of my right foot (kind of top/edge).
It is no where near my toes or ankle/heel — it is the edge of my foot and a bit on the top. I have soaked it every day and took some advil but it is not that better — some but it has not “gone away.” I can’t workout at the same rate I normally do.
I worked out last night very lightly and that may have aggravated it.
It felt like the bone was protruding causing the bump.
What could be the problem? What should I do?
