Bunion surgery

I had bunion surgery on April 25, 2013, almost six months ago and I think the recover time is over. Howerver I did have a really bad bunuion so maybe it will take longer to heal but I have noticed that when I stand on a hard flat suface bare foot my big toe does not touch the floor like the toes on my left foot that have not been operated on. Under my big toes is a round ball the is uncomfortable to stand on without wearing a shoe or standing on carpet. The surgery has been succesfull for comfort in a shoe but uncomfortable bare foot and it lookes like my toe is giving a thumbs up! I try applying pressure and pushing it down but I don’t know if it will work or cause damage to the procedure all ready proformed. I don’t know if soaking it will help or if the swealing will go down with time and pressure. The scare healed great. Please E-mail me your opinion and advice. Thank you so much.

I certainly can appreciate your concern, but I can’t really comment with knowing all the facts and seeing your foot. Your options are either go back to the doctor who did your surgery and ask your questions or get another opinion.
