bunionectomy and lack of flexibility in big toe

Are there any exercises I can do to regain flexibility in my big toe? I had a bunionectomy a year ago and have screws to keep the toe aligned but I have very little range of motion and flexibility. It’s a problem because I can’t wear shoes that have even a slight heel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

take hold of your toe base and pull up and back and hold for 20 seconds 10 times at least twice a day or when just push it against things like car pedals and walls or even the coffee table edge as you watch the tube.yes it is a bit uncomfortable but in a short tiem you will be able to use it better and wear those shoes again!
