Can a non PT own a PT Practice

Hi anyone, I have a friend who is a PT and my background is business(MBA). I would like to know if this is possible. I want to rent space from a Physician, the physician refers to my friend who is the PT. I pay the the rent to Physician and my friend who is the PT pays me certain fee every month. I would like to get some advice on this.Thanks,Mek

    Anyone can open a PT business…You just need PT’s to do the treatments. But, if the physician owned the office and only told his patients they could only go to his rehab department that he owned..then that would be unethical and he could get in trouble.
