blisters

I have never been one to get blisters on my feet, I even did a 40 mile breast cancer walk with out any blisters. All of a sudden I am getting blisters everytime I do anything athletic. These are activities that I have done frequently such as running and snowboarding. Some of the blisters are in the same spots many are in different spots. I’m not using new shoes either and I have proper socks. Is this normal to happen all of a sudden.

Planters wart

I have been using the Compound W wart removal pads for about 2 months now, on a planters wart on the bottom of my right foot.
It seems to be extracting the wart, but, after 2 months, shouldn’t this thing be gone by now?
Please advise.
(I use the pads as indicated by the directions on the box)….
ThanksMike

Freckles on Ankle

Hi,
I broke my ankle a few years ago in 3 places. I had a plate and pins put in it. The last year or so I have noticed freckling on both sides of my ankle. Is this normal? Is it caused from the surgery? They cut on both sides. Thanks.

crushed toes not healing

I crushed my toes over four months ago and they are not healing.
I have been in a post-op shoe and in a cam walker and my toes are still broken.
I was diagnosed with RSD and have been to PT for the last month and a half.
I constantly am stubbing the broken toes and rebreaking them.
Is there any type of cast or shoe that I can wear to help my toes to heal?
The 1st toe on my left foot is broken at the tip and my second toe was almost cut off from the nail bed up and the toe is crushed from the nail bed up.
The second toe has never showed any signs of healing throw 5 xrays.

Knee Pain

I have been running for about a year now.
I have custom orthotics and I have run 4 marathons in the past 6 months.
The last marathon was 2 weeks ago and I had serious knee pain in my left knee for the last 8 miles.
Most of the race (point to point) on a canted road surface. For several days after the race I have had knee pain (worse when walking down stairs).
I have tried 3 times to run in the past 2 weeks and each time (about 3-5 miles each) I have experienced the same knee pain.
The most amount of days off has been 4.
I now have not run for 4 days and my knee feels fine as long as I am not running.
Help, I really miss running.
Thanks

Fractured tarsal bone

I saw a podiatrist who took an xray of my right foot for pain at the ball under my big toe. He saw that the one of the 2 bony “lumps” (don’t know what they’re called) on the bottom of my 1st tarsal bone was broken in two (right behind the big toe). He told me it would heal in 6 weeks and not to exercise (stress fracture). I had been having terrible back pain from walking out of alignment to avoid the area. I called him back and asked how it would heal if I’m walking on it and he said it could take “months” and gave me an Aircasat to be “aggressive” with it. The aircast has me walking more inbalanced and hurts my back worse. He warned me poor healing could form a bone spur. My question is do I really need the aircast and if I suffer through just walking with a limp, how long will it really take to heal? Is there anything I can do otherwise to speed healing?
