Chiro adjustment and wrist/hand pain???

(2 discussions)

Hi all! I started seeing a chiropractor around the new year. Sometime either prior or around the same time I started having pain in my left wrist. I wasn’t sure how this came about but my rheumatologist thinks it could be a pinched nerve in my neck due to some pain in the shoulder at times. Can the neck adjustment, shoulder adjustment or wrist adjustment applied by the chiropractor cause this to happen and result in pain in the arm, wrist and hand? Thanks!

Its very unlikely. Does your chiropractor do extremity manipulations (wrist, elbow, shoulder)?
