Since I was about 15 I have not been able to lie on the ground to do sit ups because of pain in my coccsyx area. I just avoided doing it. when I was 37 I became ill because of weight gain. I had severe sleep apnea. I had to sleep sitting up on the love seat for about 2 years. I developed pain behind my calf and my ***ocks. I had bariatric bypass surgury and things are much better but the nerve on the back of my upper calf, my ***ocks, and sometimes my arm really hurt some times if I sleep wrong. it can last for days. going to the gym does not seem to bother me, and I got a new bed and I am finally able to sleep. it’s just that sometimes I wake up in this terrible pain. can you please tell me what kind of dr do I need to see. pcp, orthopedic, what? as I am getting older it is less easy to tolerate the pain.
      thanks for your time.
