Coccyx

I’ve had coccyx pain for the last six months and don’t seem to be able to get it better.
I use a cut-out wedge to sit on, have had x-rays that show nothing wrong, rest frequently, have seen an Osteopath, do stretches recommended by the Osteopath, use heat or cold as appropriately but all to no avail.
It was brought on by an old padded chair at a new workplace which I sat on for 6 weeks before the pain was so bad I had to go to the doctors. But what can I try now? I’m only 30 and my life seems to be over, I can’t do hardly any of the things I used to be able to do and I’m at my wits end.
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Joanna,
Check out coccyx.org. I have successfully treated patients for this problem. There are many techniques to work on this, but a chiropractor with experience working on this may help you.
