Constant cracking sound in right foot
Hello,
I have a question.
I have this cracking sound in my right foot.
It is sort of like cracking the knuckles of the hand only that it’s in my foot.
It doesn’t crack when I move it is something that I have to do in order for the pain in my foot to stop.
The only thing is is that the more I crack it the tighter it gets.
But if I don’t crack it it hurts like crazy.
I don’t know whether if it’s the tendons, ligaments, cartliage, bones, or joints of my right foot.
I have been to three different doctors that have given me three different diagnosis.
One even went so far as to say that my foot was broken, one said it might be arthritis, and the last told me that it was the ligaments popping.
I am really fed up with this.
I mean the foot cracks all over and it is very loud.
It moves from different locations in the foot as well, like today the cracks are coming from the far right by the pinky to and underneathe the pinky toe.
It makes a very loud popping sound when I attempt to crack it.
Do you have any idea what this might be?

Shawn, I have the same problem. Also, I have had it for about ten years. If I don’t crack my toe, it hurts like hell. Lately, though,even if I crack it,it still HURTS.If you can find a diagnosis,I’d appreciate it.
