Cracked Sternum

My 11 year old daughter cracked her sternum falling out of a tree at the sitters house.
How long will it take to heal?
We have to limit her physical activities.
What can or can’t we let her do?
We haven’t let her run around.
Is there anything else we can do to help it heal normally?

I was wreslting and the guy I was wrestling shoulder went directly into my chest. It didn’t hurt until 5 minutes later. what are symptoms of a cracked or bruised sternum? Thank you

I was doing dips for my triceps at the gym on Saturday. I had about 5 when I heard a pop in my chest. I was overcome with pain and nausea. I made it to the locker room and almost passed out before calling my boyfriend to pick me up. He said I probably just pulled a muscle. I put heat on it all that day and it felt better yesterday. Today it hurts worse. Is there anything I can do or does this have to heal on its own?
