hi, i’ve been having huge pains on my ciatic nerve for already a month an a half and I want to know with what I can treat it and when the pain will leave. Thank you very much.
The pain starts in the left buttock or hip and goes around my leg to the front groin and down to my knee. It has a catch in the groin as it comes around.Is there any thing for this pain?

: My father is 68 and recently retired, he went to the Doctors office ealier in the year with pain in his bowl and stomach/side. He had a colonoscopy done and was treated with hemeroids. THe doctor then siad its either the cyatic nerve or arthritis, but hasn’t pin pointed the problem. Pain in his side comes and goes and hes pretty active, he lays on his back or other side directly on the floor and that seems to help a bit but is there anything else that can help?
can the hip joint affect the ciatic nerve? I am 30 and after a minor slip at work, I find I have paralysing nerve pain in and around my left central hip joint. I am finding it hard to move my leg when lying flat in bed, and find it hard to bend or use the hip to its full potential. This is also starting to affect the posterior side of my lower back and thigh. Could I possibly have pinched something? it definately does not feel muscular.

My mom is 70 and has been having pain in her hip from her cyatic nerve. What is the cause and treatment for this? The Dr. put her on prednizone as an anti-inflamatory but hasn’t had much relief from this. Thanks,Kathy
The sciatic nerve of my right leg was cut about 1993 and I had my leg operated in that date. But still I have a lot of problems for example I can’t move my foot and my fingers. it becomes very painfull in cold weather. If I operate my leg now would my leg be better than now. and isn’t it too late after 12 years for my leg to be better by medical aid? and what can I do for my leg now? thanks

I am having alot of trouble walking, I feel alot of weight when I walk I start to drag my feet or sometimes I can’t even walk. could this anything to do with the cyatic nerve?
