What is the normal treatment (including surgical) for a large lymphatic cyst that extends throughout the left shoulder under the arm and below. I am told that this condition should not be painful(so maybe I imagine the pain), but I find it extremely so ,it aches and I can no longer even carry a handbag. When my arm is down by my side it feels like my shoulder cannot take the weight of my arm there is tightening and pain. I have to constantly sit with my arm raised and supported. It has been aspirated 4 times and returns within days
What can be done?
About 1 week ago I noticed a bruise on my left lower part of the arm above the wrist, later by the end of the week I noticed the bruised fading, but I felt a lump in the area, is this a cyst? what kind? I also heard that sometimes cancer is presented like that, is this true? please respond.
