I’m 32 yrs.old, have DDDand my doctor doesn’t feel that I need percocet . I already take Ibuprofen800mgs.,Ultram, Neurontin and they’re like taking nothing. My pain is still there, sometimes worse than ever. My bum is completely numb and BOTH of my legs have sharp shooting pains which gets to the point that my legs go numb. Can you please tell me what to do?

I have had an MRI of both my neck and brain done a few months ago. I have DDD in my neck…why is it that all of the site speak of DDD being in the back? This has turned my life upside down! I have tremors and dizzy spells really bad (I work in a factory…don’t know for how much longer; there’s so much I can’t do) I’m in almost constant pain… I’m looking for some help in all these sites… So far I’ve been wasting my time! Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I have had numbness and sciatica down both my legs now for 10 months. I have tried back rehabilitation and recently had an MRI Scan which showed up a mild bulge at L5, but other than that was told my scan showed a normal spine. I went to see a chiropractor who said I had sacroilliac joint pain, which was brought on through prolonged sitting at a desk. I have tried everything and am at my wits end. Any suggestions?

Cindy, sorry tohear that you also have DDD. I have suffered for years. No real clue on how to cope any better either but just wanted to lend support to a fellow sufferer. I do take hydrocodone 7.5s along with an anti-inflamatory called sulindac. it does not alleviate the pain but it makes it more bearable.My dr. just says this is the way I have to live for now–its waste since it is so hard to enjoy grandbabies at this stage. I wish you good luck on your trail to find anything better. As you will do I’;m sure I will keep hoping and looking also.Sincerely, Missy
