disclocated bicep tendon

Ihave a tear in my bicep muscle, a ruptured bicep ligament and my bicep tendon is disclocated. I have a lot of pain especially when using my arm.
I’ve been told I need surgury to attach the tendon. Is that the only way.
I would appreciate your veiws.
