My brother dislocated his foot playing football last week.
Can you explain (or send me to a site) how that happens?
Do you have any pictures to post?
How common is this injury?
What is the usual likelyhood of a full recovery?
The doctors popped it back into place while he was still on the field and they told him that it would be 6 weeks before he coudl play again.
Is this an aggressive schedule?

What part of his foot did he dislocate? There are alot of variables here. 6 weeks is not an unusual amount of time to be off. Will he he doing any physical therapy? I’m sorry I can’t give you more information at this time

Dr. Abrams,He dislocated his foot at his ankle – somewhere near to the base of his tibia. I have a more technical background than he does, but he doesn’t really recall the terms that his doctor gave him. Does this help?Brian
