dislocated hammer toe
I’m wondering how common it is for you to have the same toe dislocate after having surgery.
I had surgery on my second toe (5 monthes ago) and had it fused with the K-wire.
Apparently, now it has dislocated in the metetarsal area of the foot.
I am a tennis player and I play 3 – 4 times per week. The thought of crutches again almost makes me ill! Any suggestions on how to get the foot stronger?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I can not give you statistics as to how often this occurs. Certainly, it is not the desired outcome. I hope you have discussed this with your doctor. If you still need more information, perhaps another opinion might help.
