drop foot and swollen ankle
During a back surgery that was performed, I woke up with drop foot and it is now 6 months later and my Doctor says that it will be permanent. I am wondering what could cause the ankle to be continously swollen for the past two months, plus a blister I got on the big toe will not heal at all and its been one month since it has broke.

My youngest daughter is 10 years old. She is one of my triplets. From small, she already got problem with her left leg. I took her to doctor and was told that she got drop foot. Whenever she walk fast, you could see that it is as though she is dragging her leg. I thought of getting a leg splint but don’t know which type is suitable for her.Please advise.
