This may appear to be superfical but I am interested in have podiatrist cosmetic surgery.
I believe I have slight hammer toes. I also have used corn removal formulas that have left not corns but marks.
The area is no longer hard but it appears swollen. Is there anything that could be done so that I can just be comfortable in a pair of sandles

I am no fan of corn removal products. I have seen many unfortunate outcomes from these products. They simply burn the tissue and do nothing to treat the underlying cause. That being said, I may not speak for all foot surgeons, but I will not recommend surgery for hammertoes unless there is pain involved. Foot surgery is inconvenient and I go through a lengthy explanation with my patients regarding surgery. You need further information and I suggest you see a podiatrist.

Joyce you are right, there are many things in life more important than appearance. But you’re negativity is just as bad. Yes, being able to walk is greatly appreciated by why can’t someone ask a simple question to make oneself feel a little better about their appearance without your comment. So many people have breast augmentation, face lifts, lip injections, et cetera. So what’s wrong with helping my aching feet and also possibly improving appearance at the same time?

You should find something to take up your time besides worrying about what your feet look like. I bet a lot of people on crutches or wheelchairs would love to have your problem
