Foot pain

I have a terrible pain on my left foot, it is on the inside of the foot and starts at the arch to the middle of my heel.
It travels from the side of the foot up to the ankle bone.
There is a slight bulg there like a vein or a tendon.
At night it is so painful that I have a difficult time sleeping.
Is it a spur?
What can I do about it?
