Foot Pain

(2 discussions)

Ok, here’s the deal. I cannot put pressure on the inside ball of my right foot without shoes on to cushion it. At home I have to wear slippers. It feels as if I am stepping on something and hurts very badly. And sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and when I get up, I almost fall because it feels as though my foot is broken in about a thousand pieces. The funny thing is, that pain is all on the top of my foot. I have had 3 neuromas removed on that foot and a bunionectomy, so I do have a screw in my big toe/foot joint. So what do you think this sounds like. I have the most awesome podiatrist in the world (and it doesn’t hurt that he’s really hot too!), and will be seeing him on the 18th, but I just thought that I would ask. Thanks!

If you are having this trouble whay haven’t you called Dr. Hottie and seen him sooner? I can’t tell from what you have posted if this is related to the surgeries or not. You did not mention how long this has been going on, nor did you mention any swelling and other symptoms we look for wjhen we examine a patient. Sorry, I would need to see your foot to give a suggestion.See your doctor ASAP

I couldn’t go see my “hottie” until I could schedule the time off of work!!! I think the sesmoid has shifted. The pain has been on and off…nothing substantial, for over a year, but just became all the time like a month ago. The swelling is there, but not severe or anything. By the way, my surgeries were several years ago. But either way, seeing him is worth the wait!!!
