Foot Swells
Last tuesday I was running and I sprained my ankle. I went to the ERE for x-rays and they said it is just a sprain, and keep it elevated. I could not keep it eleveated for 3 days becasue of work. Than on the 3rd day my foot got what looked like a blood clot over my toes, and it burned real bad when I stood up. I went back to the doctor and they said it could be cellitius, and gave me anti-bidoics. Does this sound right? Can it be anything else. It looks like a blister filled with blood over my toes, and when I stand, I can feel it burning and my foot begins to swell. but it goes away once I elevate it.
thanks.

From your desription, you might have what is referred toas a fracture blister. You probably should see a podiatrist or orthopedist.
