I went today and picked up my records and was wondering if you could tell me what this means “she has a rectus foot type with a rearfoot valgus deformity. ROM are essentaily WNL b/l adn muscle power 5/5, heel pain above the insertion of the achilles tendon with a large exostosis. She is very supinated in stance esp. on left side”.

    rectus= straightrearfoot valgus= heel is everted (away from the midline of the bodyROM=range of motionb/l=bilateral or both feetmuscle power 5/5=good muscle strengthheel pain above insertion of achilles tendon with a large bone spur= achilles tendonitis with a large spur of the back of the heelsupinated in stance = high arch when standingHope this helps
