fractured fibula recovery

(2 discussions)

my son recently had a cast removed from fracturing his fibula and they think a piece in the top part of his foot. He has no pain and x-rays come back fine, which is good but he still limps around and says he can only run on his tippy toes. first is this normal and second what exercises can he do to start getting back to normal? thanks for your help Christy

I highly recommend that you ask your doctor if your son can have some PT…sounds as if he could use some massage, stretching and strenghtening exercises…way beyond the scope of information we can give you here. Good Luck, Mya PT
