Glucosamine Sulfate?

One more question. . . The first couple of weeks after my ankle surgery my knee on the other leg (which I had ACL sugery on about 8 years ago) started realy hurting so I decided to try a Glucusamine Sulfate supplement to see if that would help.
I think it is working, but just wanted to make sure that it dosen’t have any adverse effects on bone healing.
Didnt find any info on that so I just wanted to see if you knew anything about it.
Thanks again:)

I just read an abstract on Medscape the other day about using Glucosamine and CHondrotin sulfate and comparing it to Celebrex, Glucosamine alone and placebo. The participants in the study claimed the combination seemed to be helpful for arthritis of the knee.As far as safety, if you are diabetic, I would check with your physician to see if the amount of glucose in the glucosamine would affect blood sugar. So I think if it helps you, that is a good thing.
