growths on my feet

At the begining of October I found that I was unable to walk on both feet without extreme pain. A few days later my feet swelled. The right foot was worse, it went red and extremly hot to the touch. I went to the hospital and the x-rayed it and advised me that there was no breaks in any of the bones in my foot or ankle. They thought it may be an infection in the joint and prescribed to lots of antibiotics. The left foot keeps getting red patches that are hot to the touch and also extremely hard to the touch.
The right foot is still swollen however, there feels like there is a hard plate over the top of the foot, that stops half an inch before the toes.

I recommend you start with an internist. A dermatologist may also be a thought.
