I devoloped Haglands deformity on my left heel from long distance hiking. I was wondering on the sugical procedure.. How long the recovery time is and importantly how much it costs. thanks

I have been diagnosed with Haglands and I am having my heels operated on later this year. I have had steroid injections in the past be the specialist says having more could rupture the archilles tendon. The options left are surgeryor anti-inflammatories. The op takes a day (in and out), and about 8 weeks recuperation. Is this correct?
