heat sensation in left foot

I have a periodic sensation of heat in the lower side of my left foot.
It gets hot for about 10 seconds and then subsides.
The frequency is about 15 times a day.
Any idea what this symptom is about?
Should I see my doctor?

    • I looked at this site because I have a burning in my left upper foot & 3 toes. It is constant, not painful, just a bit overheated. I have a severe burn scar on that foot from 30 years ago. I assume I have a slight blockage in the small vein. If it doesn’t go away with aspirin over the next 3 days I’ll go to my doc.

I am a 28 year old female with no obvious health problems except fatigue (don’t we all?). Does anyone have any info?

  2. I recently started having this too. it is the weirdest thing!! I have had fusion at L4-L5 about 5 years ago and having some issues lately with tingling, pain etc. but now the bottom of my right foot feels like I am putting the blow dryer on it for about 10 seconds maybe 20 times throughout the day. It doesn’t hurt – just weird. Has anyone talked to their DR. about this?
