Could my hip been messed up from the surgery, this pain is not the same as before the surgery. Thank you

  3. Your wife’s pain sounds like sciatica. I have the same problem. Sciatica is a symptom and not really a diagnosis. What that means is that sciatica is caused by an underlying problem that puts pressure on the sciatic nerve. A number of things cause sciatics..herniated disc, SI joint dysfunction, or piriformis muscle syndrome. It sounds like she has SI (sacroilliac) joint problems which are very common in women. Talk to an orthopedic doctor or sports medicine doctor for starters. Usually the first line of treatment is physical therapy.

  4. I’m 30 years old and have lived with this the past few years myself. I went to therapy about a year ago after going throuh xrays/MRI and everything else under the sun. After everything came up negative my only alternative was therapy. Initially the therapy made the pain worse but afer several weeks I notice that the pain was actually going away. I probably had 6-7 sessions and the pain completely went away. Some of the treatments were deep muscle massage and excercises that would strengthen the weaker muscles in the area. My problems were gone completely. I stopped going to therapy. It’s been about 7 months and my pain has returned. I am going to start a program and begin working those muscles on my own in the gym. Find things that will target the buttocks, hamstrings, and lower back. Good luck…..

  5. I have the same problem. It come and goes and has been going on for a couple of years now. Currently the pain it is back. Nothing relieves the pain. I’ve tried streching, heat, massage, and pain relievers. I had x-rays and went to a orthopedic. He said I need exercise. I am a small woman and in good shape. I live a fairly active lifestlyle. I wasn’t impress with his diagnoses. I have you had any luck with find a diagnoses and a solution. thanks
