how long?

i hyperextended my right ankle @ 24, tore ligaments, had the cast for 4 months, ran a month after it was off w/minor pain thru the next few… I tore same ligaments in left ankle @ 18, broke nothing, limped for a year. My verdict: the cast is dope! go for the cast.
