The Flex Lite would not give much extension limit. A Range of Motion hinge would be better because you can adjust the extension limit to 5, 10 or 15 degrees. This would limit hyperextension better. A brace without extention limits will let the knee go farther that straight because of the soft tissue around the knee, which doesn’t allow the brace to get a solid grip on the knee and to limit motion precisely. A Bio Skin Gladiator, Breg Roadrunner ROM, or Hely Weber Velocity might be a better choice. You can look look in the Yellow page under “Orthopedic Appliances” and maybe find something locally.
