I AM IN PAIN!!!! PLEASE RESPOND

I am an avid surfer and approximately 2 years ago I started having pain in my right leg/hip.
Starts at hip and travels down my leg.
I have been taking Aleve now for the full 2 years.
This cannot be healthy.
I have been to my doctor and they prescribed Celebrex, but it just masks the pain for a short period.
Is this a matter for a Chiropractor?
Please tell me if this can be taken care of.

Do not go to a chiropractor. You should go to an orthopedist first and see what you have wrong. I not an expert or anything, but if the pain is traveling down your leg, it might be a pinched nerve.

You should not be taking medication for 2 years for pain that has not been diagnosed by a doctor.Get yourself to a good orthopaedic doctorone who is used to dealing with impatient, anxious athletes. I would avoid a chiropractor and head for a Physical therapist who willthen work on you as prescribed by the doctor and teach you a good home program. Don’t wait – get going.
