Ignore a Sprained Ankle?

I am pretty sure that I sprained my ankle today while running. It really hurt afterwards and burned really bad. It hurts to walk on it and thers some swelling. I am a really active and busy person and I really don’t want this to inconveience me at all. Are there any major risk if I just ignore the pain and keep going with my routine? Which includes some exercise.

    i jumped off of some rocks and i think i sprained my ankle.it had a little bit of swelling and it hurts to walk on it now do i need to go to the doctor or can just ignore it?
