OK, I sprained my ankle climbing but never saw anyone for it. Since then I have developed pain in both knees and the hamstring on the other side feels like it’s always pulled and causes glute pain as well. Is this all from improperaly rehabilitated ankle? I ran alot be for this happened and never had any of these problems.

  1. It’s possible it’s related to the ankle injury. You could be doing a lot of compensating with other body parts. The knee on the same side as the injured ankle has to pick up some slack because the ankle isn’t working right, you can get hip and back pain as well. Your gait is probably affected which can jack up your hamstring on the other side since you may not be sequencing properly. Is the ankle still bothering you?
