ITB

(2 discussions)

My pelvic bones sit lopsided, (caused by wearing a boot cast during a growth spurt) therefore, I carry most of my weight on my left side.
Whenever I try to jog with regularity I get extreem ITB in my left leg.
Stretching does not seem to help. Any suggestions?

Hi Erica – I’m not a physical therapist, but I found this site helpful for my ITB problems Also, my guess would be that orthotics would work wonders for you. If I was you, I’d get myself to a doctor that could prescribe me orthotics right away. Not only so your could run, but to prevent problems when you’re older.Hope this was helpful. Good luck.
